MY INSPIRATION

Drawing from the rich legacy of my family, I find my artistic muse in the men who have shaped my journey. Rooted in my lineage is the hardy spirit of Daniel Boone, the legendary Mountain Man who blazed trails across early America, weathering captures, leading battles, and mastering the art of survival. His adventurous legacy has the type of vitality I strive to emulate.

Lewis Boone, my grandfather, devoted his life to Christianity and lived a life of hard work. Lewis loved his grandchildren more than anything in the world, and when he passed away, little pieces of his spirit found individual ways to stick among each grandchild in the family. My grandfather was known for his love of the desert and western charm. His bolo tie collection, for instance, was infamous -- as we never saw grandpa without a bolo tie, suspenders, or something made from hardwood or leather.

My father, Shaun Boone, stands as another pillar of inspiration. He ignited my passion for the outdoors, imparting the profound values of freedom and reverence for nature. It is through my father's handiwork that I have found solace in God's grace and love. It is through his guidance that I learned to appreciate the boundless wonders of the natural world, strive to treat others with grace, and remember to live life with a smile on my face.

In every stroke of my artistry, I strive to honor the legacy of these remarkable men. It is my hope that, one day, I may be deemed worthy of the name I carry - Boone, in homage to Daniel, and Jefferies, a tribute to the man I get to build my legacy with -- my wonderful husband Xavier Jefferies.
